About

Artist Heather Sundquist Hall’s fine art prints celebrate storytelling, nostalgia, and moments of reflection. Each piece captures the essence of memory, like keepsakes gathered along a road trip or the lingering glow at the close of day.

Heather draws much of her inspiration from the “golden hour,” that fleeting time just before sunset when light shifts and colors deepen. Her work reflects this atmosphere through rich, velvety tones and thoughtfully composed scenes that invite viewers to linger a little longer.

Every print begins as an original gouache painting. These works are then carefully scanned and reproduced on museum-quality, acid-free paper using archival inks, ensuring each piece remains vivid and enduring. At its core, Heather’s work explores connection to place, to memory, and to self offering a subtle invitation to be present, feel deeply, and remain curious.

Heather is a formally trained fine artist who also works as a freelance illustrator. In her free time, she explores overlooked landscapes and the natural world with her partner, painter Michael Wayne Hall Jr., and their dogs, Archie and Waylon.

Heather’s paintings have been featured in Texas Monthly, The Bitter Southerner, Southern Cultures, Oxford American, Alamo Drafthouse Magazine, Birth. Movies. Death., and Tribeza. Her work has been exhibited across the country, including in Texas at Preacher Gallery, Get Lucky in Lockhart, Wrong Marfa, Webb Gallery, and Webb’s Fair and Square; in Joshua Tree at Hey There Projects; in Philadelphia at Paradigm Gallery; and in New Hampshire at Nahcotta Gallery.
